United States Patent and Trademark Office awards Immatics patent for innovative immunotherapies
FREDERICK, Md. (January 3, 2019) – McBee, Moore, Woodward and Vanik IP, LLC (MMWV Law) is proud to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has awarded MMWV Law’s client Immatics Biotechnologies GmBH (Immatics), a leading company in the field of immunotherapy, its 100th U.S. patent.
In a press release issued earlier today, Immatics indicated thatImmatics’ 100th patent (US Patent No. 10,143,731) demonstrates a significant achievement in innovation in the Life Sciences industry. Using the Company’s XPRESIDENT® technology, Immatics identified a peptide presented on the human leucocyte antigen (HLA), a key piece to the development of cancer immunotherapies.
