MMV IP was proud to sponsor another Frederick County Chamber of Commerce Biotech Connector event.
Focused on Dynamic World of Antibodies: Characterization and Versatile Applications at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research on February 22, 2024, we were honored to invite two local high school students that are interested in pursuing a future in the biotech field as guests to this event. Camilla Gozalez, Senior at Urbana High School and Grace Fanning, Sophomore at Urbana High School both jumped at the opportunity to attend this event as our guests. This was a great opportunity for us to come together as a biotech community and mentor these two young ladies. This was Camilla’s second time attending as our guest and she said,
“I continued to be inspired by the advancements and research going on in the biomedical research field. I hope that more young people get to experience this opportunity.”
Grace was grateful for having this exposure.
“Hearing the accomplishments of various research was amazing. The impact all the researchers and doctors have on the younger generation is beyond inspiring.”
At MMV IP, our partners are committed to demonstrating the various pathways young students and young women can navigate to follow their dreams of being involved in STEM outside the traditional methods.
